Anti-Slavery Statement

POLICY STATEMENT

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes many forms, including slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking, all of which involve the deprivation of a person’s liberty for personal or commercial gain.

At Roeks Avenue Limited, we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all of our business dealings and relationships. We operate a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and are committed to ensuring that it does not take place anywhere in our own operations or within our supply chains.

We all have a responsibility to be alert to the risks not just within our own business, but also in the wider supply chain. Employees are expected to report concerns, and the Company is obligated to act upon them.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement for the current financial year.

SCOPE OF POLICY

This policy applies to all employees of Roeks Avenue Limited. It is not intended to replace existing procedures but sits alongside them. It also sets out the expectations we apply to any organisation that we do business with, whether they are a client, supplier, or partner.

SUPPLY CHAIN

We are committed to working only with organisations that share our values. To support this:

  • We operate and maintain a preferred supplier list.
  • We conduct due diligence on all suppliers before allowing them to become a preferred supplier. This includes online checks to ensure that an organisation has never been convicted of offences relating to modern slavery.
  • All suppliers are required to confirm compliance with modern slavery legislation and that no part of their business operations contradicts this policy.
  • Where possible, we build long-standing relationships with suppliers and clearly communicate our expectations of business behaviour.

OUR COMMITMENT

We are committed to:

  • Implementing and maintaining effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place.
  • Encouraging the reporting of concerns and protecting whistleblowers through our Whistleblowing Policy.
  • Ensuring prospective/new suppliers have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and processes, verified as part of our due diligence.
  • Reviewing and improving our processes regularly to identify and mitigate risks within our operations and supply chains.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND REPORTING

The prevention, detection and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chains is the responsibility of everyone who works for or with us.

  • Employees are encouraged to raise concerns at the earliest possible stage with their manager.
  • Concerns can also be raised in accordance with our Whistleblowing Policy, which ensures confidentiality and protection for anyone who makes a report in good faith.

TRAINING

We ensure that employees involved in procurement, supply chain management, or client support understand our obligations in preventing modern slavery. We encourage all colleagues to remain vigilant and raise any concerns.
