Supporting every stage of the career journey
Wherever someone is in their working life, the right support makes all the difference. Our career solutions are designed to meet people where they are – building confidence, enabling change, and unlocking potential at every stage of their professional journey.

The Six Career Stages
Early-career coaching
Starting out in a career can be overwhelming. Our early-career coaching helps individuals find their footing – clarifying their strengths, identifying the right path, and developing the confidence to take on new challenges. Whether someone is navigating their first role, returning after study, or just starting to understand what they want from work, we provide the grounding they need to move forward with purpose.
Career transitions
Career transitions – whether a move to a new sector, a step into management, or a complete change of direction – can feel daunting without the right support. We help people plan and execute transitions thoughtfully, ensuring they arrive in a new role or direction with clarity about what they bring and what they need to succeed. We also support individuals navigating change imposed on them, building resilience and direction when the path ahead feels unclear.
Career progression
For those already established in their careers, progression requires more than ambition – it requires deliberate development. Our career progression support helps individuals identify the skills, behaviours and relationships they need to move into more senior roles, grow their influence, or simply perform better in the role they have. We work with people who want to accelerate their growth and with organisations who want to invest in their high-potential talent.
Redundancy and outplacement support
Facing redundancy is one of the most stressful professional experiences anyone can go through. Our outplacement support provides a structured, compassionate programme that helps individuals process the change, re-establish their professional confidence, and move into their next role or chapter as quickly and positively as possible. We support both individuals and organisations – helping employers fulfil their duty of care while giving their people the best possible start to what comes next.
Family planning integration
Becoming a parent, returning from leave, managing caring responsibilities – these are significant life events that directly affect how people work and what they need from their careers. Our family planning integration support helps individuals navigate these transitions without losing momentum, confidence or sense of professional identity. We also work with organisations to build genuinely supportive cultures around these moments, not just compliant ones
As part of our career support ecosystem, we partner with Motherbrand to provide expert guidance for working parents and carers. Motherbrand specialises in supporting individuals navigating the intersection of parenting and professional life. Through this partnership, Roeks Avenue clients can access dedicated coaching, resources and community support designed specifically for working parents.
Retirement planning
Retirement is not an ending, it is a transition that deserves the same care and planning as any other. We support individuals approaching retirement to reflect on what they have achieved, consider what they still want to do, and plan a transition that feels purposeful rather than abrupt. Whether someone is planning a phased withdrawal or a clean break, we help them move into this new chapter with clarity and confidence.

Common Questions
Is this just for people who are struggling?
Not at all. The majority of people we work with are performing well, they just want to think more clearly about where they’re going, or get an objective perspective on a decision they’re facing. Career support is most powerful when you use it before things become difficult, not after.
Can I use this if I just want to think through my options?
Absolutely. You don’t need to be at a crossroads, facing redundancy, or about to hand in your notice. Some of the most valuable sessions we run are with people who are doing fine but want to be more intentional about where their career is heading. If you’re thinking about it, that’s reason enough to get in touch.
What actually happens in a session?
Sessions are one-to-one, led by an experienced coach, and focused entirely on you. There’s no fixed agenda, we work with what’s most useful to you at that point in time. Most people find the combination of structured thinking and a genuinely independent perspective more valuable than they expected.
I’m an employer, how do my employees access the service?
Once your organisation is signed up, employees can self-refer directly. There’s no need for manager approval or HR involvement, which means people access support when they actually need it, not when it’s been approved. You receive a summary of usage (never individual details) so you can see the benefit in action.
Is coaching confidential?
Yes. What’s discussed in sessions stays between the individual and their coach. For employer accounts, we share anonymised usage data only, never the content of individual sessions or who has used the service for what.
